Mark our Ranger had set up a 06:00 start for our second
Safari but we woke up to rain and got a call saying our departure would be
delayed until 08:00 due to the wet weather.
By 08:00 it was a mere drizzle but the temperature was cool and so we
were heavily layered including rain ponchos.
The animals were not as co-operative as yesterday but we did experience
a few sightings before heading back to the Lodge for lunch. After lunch we were heading for Phinda
(pronounced Pinda) a neighboring Safari Lodge that had Lions, which Zulu Nyala
does not have.
